What you're buying

The Better Father is a self-guided, eight-week program: daily readings and exercises, tools, a log, emails, and conversations with an AI guide. One purchase gives one person access. It isn't a subscription, and access continues after the eight weeks for as long as we run the program.

It isn't therapy or crisis care

The Better Father is educational. It is not therapy, counseling, medical, legal or financial advice, and it doesn't diagnose or treat anything. The guide is an AI; it can be wrong, and it is not a person or a professional. Nobody monitors the program in real time. If you or anyone else is in danger, call 911, or call or text 988. By using The Better Father you agree you're responsible for your own decisions and for seeking professional help when you need it.

Adults only

You must be 18 or older to use The Better Father, and you'll confirm that before you start.

The guarantee

If The Better Father isn't worth it to you, ask for a refund within 30 days of buying, by replying to any email from us. You'll get your money back, and your access ends. For group seats, unclaimed seats can be refunded within 30 days; seats already claimed stay with the men who claimed them.

Codes and gifts

An access code gives as many people access as it has seats, each with their own account. Codes can't be resold. If a code is shared beyond the group it was bought for, we may turn it off; people who already redeemed it keep their access.

Using it well

Please don't try to break, overload or misuse the site or the guide, use it to harm or monitor anyone, or share your account. We may limit how much the guide can be used in a day so it stays available for everyone, and we may close an account that's used to abuse the service or the people behind it.

What's ours and what's yours

The program's writing, the books it draws from, the design and the guide are Daniel Walker's, and you may use them for your own practice. What you write is yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the program for you, as described in the privacy page.

Changes and availability

We'll keep improving the program, and we may change these terms; if a change matters, we'll email you first. We work hard to keep it running but can't promise it will never be unavailable. If we ever stop running The Better Father, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to download everything you wrote.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, The Better Father is provided as it is, and our total responsibility to you for anything related to it is limited to what you paid for it.
